GroundWork group MEMBERSHIP
GroundWork group membership opens doors to all kinds of opportunities! The Membership Fee is only $500 per
year (July - June) per organization. Your organization should be able to save more than that by fully using
the member benefits described below. Contact us to learn more

Membership in GroundWork group more than pays for itself. Here is a partial list of member benefits:
Easy access to resources:
on-line technology templates, links to others that provide hardware/software,
network documentation templates, information on maintaining secure systems, research reports, and more (included
in annual membership)
Personal consultation:
to help set up technology planning processes, to review tech plans, to help the
CEO better understand technology, to discuss information management strategy, to help link the nonprofit to
funding resources, to discuss any information management/IT issue.
Discounted purchasing:
Office supplies, high speed access, opportunities to purchase vendor overstock
items at low cost and before they are offered to the public
Access to donated equipment:
equipment that meets GroundWork group standards and is useable
Promotion of member IT funding needs:
GroundWork group will have a dedicated area on its website where
funders can view pre-qualified IT projects from nonprofit organizations for funding. GroundWork group will also
conduct on-going work with funders to encourage them to expand IT funding.
Shared service solutions:
GroundWork group is dedicated to developing shared solutions wherever
possible in order to reduce cost and create efficiencies. "Managed IT Services" will be the first shared technology
product and GroundWork group will develop other potential applications in the future such as shared accounting
and payroll processes. (additional fees apply)
Shared knowledge:
free user groups for members’ IT staff, Raiser’s edge users, others as areas of
interest are developed
Access to affordable website services:
GroundWork group believes it can help nonprofits receive better
value for their investments in websites and will offer website templates, web hosting, on-line payment
processing, on-line event registration, automatic updates to keep content fresh, e-campaigning, intranets,
enhanced web visibility, and easily maintained web content. (additional fees apply)
Quality Educational seminars:
on timely topics related to information management, technology and
capacity building. GroundWork group plans to keep members continually updated in areas of emerging technology
and best business practices. Members will receive priority for reservations and will have discounted
rates.
MindLeaders Online Training Courses:
Members have access to over 1,600 online training courses ranging
from Business Grammar to Word to Windows NT! New courses are added every quarter and participants have access to
the material 24/7 for twelve months! This is a great, low cost way for even the smallest nonprofit to get
essential training!
Ability to participate in pilot and demonstration projects:
GroundWork group will continue testing
technology solutions and best practices through developing pilot projects. Only member organizations will be
selected to test new products and services at little or no cost
